Long time....

No blog! (He he) I don't even know if anyone looks at this thing anymore but I was compelled today to update it. I have been having a great time with the kids. I guess minus the extra week off of school and my only problem with that is that we were stuck in the house for almost two weeks and the boys don't have good snow clothes. I really have a hard time investing in snow clothes for kids that grow like weeds and then it might not even snow! Anywho, we had a wonderful Christmas. It was pretty relaxing on Christmas eve, we had a nice dinner with my family and opened present and got the kids dressed up. (They looked SO CUTE! and isn't that why you have kids, to dress them up?)

I love this picture. They all look so angelic and are smiling so nice.

And then you let them be goofy and this is what you get! (Isn't Christian's smile adorable?)

So Christmas eve was a success and then onto Christmas day. It was going to be a quiet day at home with just the baby after all the other kids were picked up by their other parents at 11 am. Well, after the onslaught of presents the boys were picked up and Paige was not. Her mother was stuck in Seattle with no chains. She actually didn't make an appearance down here until this weekend so, of course, Paige was bummed. We did our best to jazz up the day and make it fun for her. Our Christmas dinner turned out super yummy and it was nice just having myself, Chris, Paige and Justin. (My dad went to the Blazer game)

The Christmas morning disaster. Do you see that the baby is crying?

Christian opening his own present

This is what happens when you leave me alone with Max and to many bows

I just love his smile!

We spent the New Years week going to the library and dollar store and recovering from Mom having to go back to work. Amazingly work doesn't seem like it is going to be so bad. They have made some pretty big changes and I am hitting the new year running with a positive attitude. On New Years Eve, we had our own silly party. We made hats and counted down at 8 pm with our sparkling cider toast and then due to the fact that all of our cable channels are eastern time we watched the ball drop in Time's Square at 9 pm. Then the kids were off to bed and Chris and I were down by 11 pm. The baby slept through it all but I am sure next year he will be right in the middle of it!

All of us decked out in our party hats compliments of Mom!

Cheers!

I have officially run out of things to say. I hope you all had a great holiday and we can catch up soon!
